Spring has truly arrived this week! We enjoyed the lovely weather and decided to start our planting for spring/summer. We planted lots of different herbs, cosmos and sunflowers so far. We got the sunflower seeds from the flowers which we planted last year.

Our pupils had a brilliant time watching the Army parade on Monday, which celebrated their 100 years of service to Ireland. We congratulate them on a brilliant day and thank them sincerely.

The children in the Senior Room received a Science Kit from Cell Explorers at NUI Galway. We had great fun extracting DNA from a pumpkin, especially for Halloween! We learned all about living things and how we all have our own DNA.
