In the Senior Room, pupils made an electrical circuit and used it to create their very own lighthouse. We had great fun. The science kits were provided to us free of charge by Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR).
We also learned about bridges and the different types of bridges that can be seen all over the world. In particular we learned about the George Washington Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge and the Danyang–Kunshan Grand Bridge (which is the longest bridge in the world).
We designed and made our own bridges. I think you’ll agree, we did a brilliant job.
