Our teacher is doing a 7 week course with Ericsson in Scratch and Microbits. Today, for Valentine’s Day, we completed 3 Scratch lessons provided to us by Ericsson. We had so much fun and the we were delighted with our creations. Thank you Liz at Ericsson!
Pupils from 1st to 6th Class explored a lovely PowerPoint Presentation on How We Can Help the Environment. The invoked plenty of discussion. The children then completed a worksheet on the things we can do at home and at school to help our environment.
Pupils in the Junior Room revised our Litter Campaign during SESE. They explored a lovely story called The Messy Magpie. They found lots of rhyming words. They discussed the impact litter has on our environment. The children designed and created anti-litter posters. They did a brilliant job!

We celebrated Catholic Schools Week recently and concluded the week by making St. Brigid’s Crosses. The children make beautiful, colourful crosses for their homes.
