The children in the Junior Room were introduced to Hailey the Hedgehog by Mr O’Leochain. They learned lots of interesting facts about her and released Hailey onto our school grounds. Last November the children made a Hedgehog Bunker as part of science week.
Mr O’Leochain also showed us a fancy pigeon this week. We gave the pigeon seeds and porridge during the day. The children had great fun learning about the bird.
