Jim Mulkerrin, Chairperson of Feile na Sionainne, came to our school today to present us with a certificate for taking part in the festival last August. We played a few tunes for him and we were delighted when he joined in on his banjo. We are really looking forward to taking part in Feile na Sionainne again this August.
Thanks sincerely to Jim for coming to our school and to the parents and grandparents who also attended. Thanks to Cian from Music Generation, who comes to our school each Wednesday, for all his hard work with the children. Thanks to our staff who practise and play along with our pupils. We all had a lovely afternoon.
