The children in the Junior Room had a brilliant day at Sports Day recently. Tara from Rinka came in the morning and Jean our P.E. teacher held the traditional races then. Every child won a medal for taking part. Next we had a special visit from the ice-cream van which went down very well! After this, Ms Quigley and Mr O’Leochain organised an obstacle course for all the children and lastly the pupils enjoyed time in the playground. They had a brilliant day. Thanks sincerely to Clonown Sports Field Committee for the use of the pitch. We are thrilled to have this fabulous facility so close to our school.
