‘Robins’ was the theme yesterday in the Junior Room. We learned all about robins, where they live, how they build their nests and what they eat. As it was such a cold day we brought some birdseed outside to feed the robins. We listened to a song about a robin, Little Robin Redbreast, and we also learned a lovely old poem, The North Wind Doth Blow. We completed nice writing worksheets and coloured in our own pictures of a robin. He’s definitely now one of our favourite birds!
Don’t forget to look after the birds during this cold weather.
This is a lovely, special feeding area for birds which some pupils in our school made at breaktime.
