Pupils in the Junior Room had great fun celebrating Science Week. Firstly, Junior & Senior Infants focused on ‘Materials’ and they had to design and create a bridge that could hold the weight of ten farm animals. They could use only string, lollipop sticks and a bit of sellotape also! They got great help and advice from their team leaders in 1st and 2nd class. They all came up with brilliant results.
Secondly, all pupils had so much fun making a Lava Lamp and were amazed at the results. They used the following ingredients:
