We are a committed Green School and we are working towards our 12th Green Flag. We love nature and we are very lucky with our lovely surroundings. We work very hard to look after our school grounds and we never use any chemicals on them. For example, we would never use weed killer as it is incredibly harmful on our wild life, our wild plants and flowers and our environment in general.
This month we planted flowers in our window boxes to brighten up the front of the school. We really enjoyed this hands-on activity and I think you’ll agree we did a good job. We have a lovely view of the boxes from inside the classroom and we love watching the plants grow.
We make our own compost at the school which we are very proud of also.
