Pupils in 3rd to 6th Class enjoyed a visit to Ericsson yesterday. It was a brilliant experience for them. They heard about Ericsson and some of the work that happens there. They learned about software and hardware. They had the opportunity to take part in coding. (We had completed a workbook on Computational Thinking in school so this workshop followed on perfectly for the children.) Finally they enjoyed a terrific talk on internet security. Thank you to everyone involved yesterday, particularly Tommy Gilhooly who arranged this trip for us.
