Children in the Senior Room enjoyed a trip on the Viking Boat recently from Hodson Bay into Athlone town. There we met Martin Curley from Heritage in Schools who brought us on a Historic Walking Tour of Athlone. We had a brilliant day and the weather was perfect. It was great to enjoy our lovely town under blue skies. Meanwhile pupils in the Junior Room had brilliant fun at their Teddy Bears’ Picnic at the Clonown Playground. We are blessed to have this wonderful facility so close to our school.
