We made St. Brigid’s Crosses during Catholic Schools Week. The older children helped the younger pupils to make a cross and everyone was happy bringing one home. We made them out of pipe cleaners as we found it difficult to find rushes in our area this year. The crosses looked very colourful and we really enjoyed making them. We learned about St. Brigid and we held a special Prayer Service in our class at the end of the week.
