We go to the library every month and all our pupils are avid readers. We follow the Accelerated Reading programme in school which has been a great success. The pupils read a book and then they answer questions on it on the computer. They really enjoy doing this and love stocking up on new books from the library. Recently, we went to a story telling event by author Niall De Burca in Athlone Library. Niall was extremely funny and the children really enjoyed his stories, as did the adults too!
