We are taking part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme. As part of this we invited Padraig Hegarty from the Viking Riverfest to come to our school to speak to the children. They loved hearing all about this festival which will take place in Athlone during the August Bank Holiday weekend. The children had the opportunity to ask Padraig lots of great questions and he gave them good advice about their own project. The children’s Business Idea is to run a Fun Day at Clonown Sports Field in May.
