Teachers have completed training in Aistear recently. We have introduced the programme (learning through play) into our school. This month’s theme was Food and we set up a restaurant in our classroom. Pupils enjoyed looking at recipes, reading menus, cooking, taking orders and sampling delicious ‘food’! We can already see the huge scope for learning within this programme. Pupils are learning in a natural, fun, hands-on and child-centred way.
