We received our National Flag recently. A 6th class pupil read a piece from the Proclamation. Another 6th Class pupil accepted a copy of the Proclamation on behalf of the school. A First Class pupil received the flag for us. It was a very special ceremony. We are learning about the 1916 Rising and the events that lead up to this in school. Pupils love history in our school and have a huge interest in this initiative.
